Roosters!!!

I am sorry it has been a long long time since I posted... I have been busy with stuff... you know...
I dont have any pictures with this post but I have some... exciting... news...
About a week ago 2 of our chickens started.... crowing??? I have a brain fart right now and cant think of the word for the sound that roosters make. Well it was Ginger and Salt. Well all i can say now is that I dont think we will be seeing them again...
We took them way behind our property...
We never heard from them again.
Sad story...
It means two less eggs....
Why did they have to be roosters??!!
But I like to look on the bright side... now they wont be waking me up at 4:00 AM!!!

More Chick Pics

First Rainy Night

Well this was actually a while ago. Their first thunder/lightning storm. My dad went out and he said that they were just standing on the ladder that we put up not moving. He picked each one up and they all stayed there. Finally feeling sorry for them he put them in the inside part of the coop (where they will be laying eggs). I think they were a little shocked by the thunder and lightning. Well... they are all safe.
Not the pic of the lightning of that night!!!
